Denise was the only reason I passed Spanish in Mrs. Sprague's class. If Denise hadn't been in my study hall that year, I don't know what I would have done.
I believe Denise taught at St. Albert's here in Council Bluffs for a while. I didn't see her when she was here, because I didn't know she taught right over the hill from where I was teaching, until a friend of mind mentioned that her colleague at St. Albert's had left.
Funny that we were sort of neighbors in the teaching field and we never knew we were so close to each other. I wish I would have known she was teaching here, because I would have called her and renewed our friendship.
